Install it on a server you control

ARK Sites needs PHP 8.3 or 8.4, MySQL 8 or MariaDB, and nginx or Apache. A cron entry runs the scheduled work.

Installation creates the database tables, the owner account, and a first page. From there you edit the site in the browser.

The software includes a deployment guide for HTTPS, mail, backups, and recovering from a failed release. Docker, a hosting panel, and Landlord are not required.
